FAQ
Questions about the process
What do you need from us to start?
The manual you have today as a PDF, Word or Illustrator file, or a link to it. CAD files help with complex products and are never required.
Who writes the steps?
Our software builds the draft from your manual, and we check it against the source before your team sees it. Your reviewer has the final say on every page.
What if the manual leaves something out?
We draw it from the parts and mark it as estimated, for example a screw length the manual never prints. Your reviewer confirms or corrects each estimate before anything goes to print or online.
How long does a draft take?
The draft of a simple product comes back in days. Complex products, and CAD we have to prepare first, can take longer. We confirm the date once we have seen your files. Your team's review time is on your side of the calendar.
Can the same guide go on our product page?
Yes. The approved 3D guide can sit on your product page as well as open from the box. See the integrations page.
